Geoawesome says more than 125 geospatial professionals took part in the 2026 community process. The final list is alphabetical and explicitly not ranked. Axis Spatial is one of the companies marked new for 2026.
Why it matters now
Recognition raises the standard for what we publish.
Axis Spatial is building spatial intelligence for AI agents. The work connects spatial understanding, task context, real software and verification so an agent's result can be inspected before it is accepted.
We will use this visibility to publish clearer research, evidence records and practical work. Recognition is the introduction. The work has to earn the rest.
